Vent-Axia Revives Social Housing Ventilation

30.06.16

Volution Group plc (LSE: FAN), a leading supplier of ventilation products to the residential and commercial construction market, today announced that Volution’s Vent-Axia division has launched the intelligent Lo-Carbon Revive, a new filter-less unitary fan designed to meet the specific needs of social housing. Boasting powerful, quiet, efficient ventilation, Revive provides good indoor air quality and comfort for tenants while being quick and easy to install, low maintenance and reliable.

For landlords Revive has been designed to offer simple specification. Highly versatile, Revive offers a choice of installation selections for multiple application options. Plus Revive is low maintenance since its market-leading Multi-Vortex technology does not require a filter, while the highly sculpted interior actively repels dust, avoiding clogging, thus helping to avoid call backs from tenants. Revive also boasts reliability backed by up to seven years’ warranty and an integral data logger enabling scrutiny of operation profiles. Revive’s Smart Sense technology provides real-time data via an intuitive LED interface to communicate the fan’s energy efficiency so landlords can reassure tenants of the low-running costs. Meanwhile Revive’s Smart Sense technology features an ambient response humidistat which automatically detects humidity and ramps the fan up slowly as needed. This helps reduce noise by controlling the speed more precisely and making the fan very comfortable to live with.

Mark Hoskins, UK Ventilation Group Managing Director said:
When it comes to ventilation, social housing refurbishment has a very specific set of needs. Keeping tenants happy is an important part of being a landlord. However, our ambition was not only to create a fan that worked well for tenants, but also delivered added value for landlords. Landlords can use the Data Logger to track energy use and interrogate the fan on how many days a fan has been on humidity boost mode, pull cord boost mode, or trickle. This information can help build a profile of tenant activity and aids landlords in investigating humidity problems. This allows landlords to provide feedback and work with tenants to ensure a healthy indoor environment. “
